First Impressions Dental uses the best dental laboratories to fabricate esthetic and functional crowns and bridges. A variety of different materials can be used to make crowns and bridges, including porcelain, metal alloys and gold.
The procedure involves trimming the tooth/teeth to a specific dimension, taking a mold of the tooth and sending it to the laboratory to fabricate the crown or bridge. Meanwhile, a temporary crown/bridge is made to protect the tooth and the patient can still eat and smile. Within two weeks, the newly fabricated crown is returned and fitted in on the tooth. If everything is esthetically and functionally sound, the crown/bridge is cemented on the tooth.
